The Dora Maar collection shows the perfect face from every angle, and the unglazed finish emphasizes the flawless features of the music in wonderfully delicate details. Inspired by Dora Maar, a French photographer, poet and painter, also known as Pablo Picasso’s lover and muse. Jonathan Adler sculpts and rotates models, and then replaces the characteristic geometric relief patterns with body parts – faces, breasts, mouth – to create a surreal style.
